Philosophy

It is the firm's philosophy that the goal in every divorce case should be to resolve the litigation by reaching a fair and reasonable settlement agreement out of Court. This is particularly important when there are children involved...whether they are minors or adult children.

It is our belief that family law attorneys have a responsibility to calm the emotional aspects of the divorce process and to create and maintain an atmosphere that is conducive to settlement.

After receiving the 2002 Professionalism Award from the Florida Family Law Inn of Court, Barry Sinoff was asked by a newspaper reporter why he limits his practice to family law. His response was that it provided an opportunity to assist people through a family crisis with courtesy and dignity.

In order to prepare for settlement negotiations or for trial, the firm uses a team approach. The attorney, the paralegal and legal assistants are involved in specific responsibilities resulting in an efficient use of time and savings to the client. When it is necessary and appropriate, we engage the services of a forensic accountant, a business valuation expert and/or an occupation evaluation expert.
